Copilot remains pending public availability. Consult the Copilot guide's availability notice and your Microsoft 365 administrator; a changed hub label alone does not confirm that you can connect.

What a client needs to qualify

• Support for remote MCP servers. A client that only runs local servers on your own machine cannot reach the endpoint.
• Streamable HTTP transport.transport Server-Sentat Events/mcp. The legacy HTTP+SSE transport isand a separate /sse endpoint are not supported.provided.
• OAuth support, so authorization completes on the SiteTrax.io side.
• Support for MCP tools. Resources and prompts are additional protocol capabilities whose presentation varies by client. Current source includes four prompts: project_ops_review, anomaly_scan, carrier_mix and investigate_asset. Use the connected server’server's advertised catalog to determine availability.

Platform limits worth knowing before you commit

• ChatGPT. Use a desktop browser for the documented setup steps. Availability on other surfaces depends on the ChatGPT integration and current product support. On workspace plans an administrator controls whether apps can be added.
• Claude. Custom connectors are available on Free, Pro, Max, Team and Enterprise, with one custom connector on Free. On Team and Enterprise only Owners can add one; other members connect and authorize their own accounts afterwards. Check Anthropic’Anthropic's current guide for plan changes.

Choosing between them

Platforms use the same SiteTrax.io project-sharing rules and server-side analytics, but their supported tools, consent paths, permissions and use of retrieved context can differ. The Microsoft federated connector is read-only. Choose a supported assistant your team can use, then authorize with your active, email-verified SiteTrax.io account. A published profile is optional for ordinary MCP access. See Account Access and OAuth.
